The Forbidden Fruit (via Clientsfromhell.net)

Client: Hey, just one final question before I send the deposit. Do you use a PC or a MAC?

Me: I use a MAC.

Client: That is a problem. Do you have access to a PC? I am not a supporter of Apple products.

Me: No, I don’t have access to a PC, but this will have little to no effect on the work itself.

Client: I am a Christian and Apple products are sinful, I do not want our website to be created by a product made by this corrupt group. You need only look at their logo, an apple with a bite taken from it. Do you not know the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden? If I allowed you to create my website on a MAC I would be just like Adam, taking a bite of the forbidden fruit.

[Silence]

“Take my advise, destroy your mac and repent for when judgement day comes. It shall be you who is cast to hell for your sins.”

Me: [Block Contact]

Renewal Design Day. Take 5.

Today was yet another design day for Steve’s new website. I’ve noticed that because its for Steve and I’ve taken ‘ownership’ in helping him finish this up, the process takes much longer. It’s the same concept as rebuilding my website. I’ve started thirteen times and basically at this point when I find time I poke at getting it done. I’ve even bought a new domain name www.madebygraham.com which is fun (not the most original but, fun). Someday both of these sites will be complete but until then, I’ll press on.

Had the family over for movie night. We watched “The Blind Side” with Colin, Liv, Rachel, Brandon, Jeanie, Syd and Grandma. Once again a great movie and Blu-Ray makes it all the better. Shannon missed out on the festivities tonight however, she was scheduled to work her night away at Starbucks.

Tomorrow, we celebrate Easter. Shannon and I will be heading over to Grandma’s house to celebrate with the family. These are the holiday’s however that I miss not having our immediate families around for. I hope that someday, that changes. Maybe we just have to have a kid to encourage the grandparents to move closer? Weather forecast for this weekend, continued beauty as we welcome Spring. It is the winter you see that makes the spring so majestic. If we didn’t have the cold, snow; I’m convinced that we wouldn’t enjoy the spring as much. The family in Florida I’m sure has forgotten about the beautiful season us Michiganders know as ‘new life.’

Good night for now. I’ll work on writing again soon, if only for my enjoyment and record.

Out for my birthday dinner with @shannonmgraham at PF Changs. Celebrating with food takes away some of the “one more year until 30″ fears.
