Life moves at you fast and if your not taking care of every moment you’ll miss them (sometimes that?s not a bad thing). The ‘Indiana Grahams’ have had all kinds fun and exciting changes happen and we’re in the season of change still. We’re going to do our best to catch you back up to speed.
1 Year Anniversary, August 5th : This happened fast! We can’t believe it has been an entire year. We’ve had our “in sickness and in health,” haven’t had the “richer,” but we’re living the “poorer,” part and we’re loving (almost) every bit of it (lets be honest, its not always the easiest). We’re going to drive up to Port Huron for our anniversary and enjoy. (Shannon’s going to be a model in a TV commercial on the 6th, so we’re going to make a weekend out of it).
Shannon’s Promotion! Yes, her hard work has paid off and they have promoted her to a Shift supervisor! This was a great accomplishment because there were others at her store that had started before her and have requested this promotion however, as we all know, my wife is amazing and they awarded it to her instead. I am very proud of her and her accomplishments (plus the extra money will be great as well, way to go Hun!)
Goodbye Windows: There have been many changes in Matt’s working situation so we’ll give you the basics. Matt was downsized from Sterling about two months ago and we’ve spent many hours in prayer asking God what is next. We’ve looked into Florida, back to Michigan, and believe that we’re home here in Mishawaka (at least for now). Matt has been blessed with an office out at DC+Design (thanks Dave & Liz) and he has begun to freelance design as a full-time job (www.kickthebox.com). As for the goodbye windows? We’ve been praying about the perfect time to jump into the Mac world and since DC+Design is a Mac environment and there were some needed upgrades anyways, we’ve joined the Mac revolution. We purchased an iMac and away we go (this has also required several tech support calls to Jeremy Bricker as well). We’re praying that God continues to bless Matt’s work load and DC+Design as they begin to grow together.
International House of Prayer – Michiana: We’ve been diving into Voice Ministries and the IHOP here in Michiana and enjoying the time we’ve been able to spend in the prayer room. DC+Design is actually located above the House of Prayer so Matt is able to spend time out in the prayer room often. Matt has also joined two worship teams in the house of prayer and should you be in the area and want to join us the times are: Sunday night from 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM and Monday morning from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. You would be surprised how your prayer life / time with God increases when you schedule it in and find that quiet place that you enjoy going to.
Other: Other than that we’re still looking for a new place to live (our goal is to downsize life so we can pay any debt), a second car at some point (some think its amazing we’ve been able to keep to one car this entire time), and prevision for the future. We?re loving life and loving each other. We pray that God is teaching and growing in and around you and that your time with him is set above all else.
